“No,” Paige shook her blue head emphatically. “I would never betray Song. She is the reason I’m still here, still standing and not dead in a gutter. She is...family. The first family I’ve had in a long time. I’ll do a lot of things, but I won’t do that.”

She doesn’t realize it, but Paige is totally lying. Given the right combination of circumstances and bad decisions, Paige would totally betray Song’s trust. Her ability to judge situations is really, really poor. Doesn’t mean it will happen, just that it could, whether Paige is aware of that or not.

I love your character (Alurien) because he is such a well fleshed out character with depth, mystery, his share of dark secrets, yet still comes off as a believable well rounded out character that intrigues and makes others want to know -more- about him. An intriguing enigma.
