Joseph Mallozzi will ruin any future Stargate, just like he intentionally ruined all the Stargate shows he was bizarrely given power over. Some were for personal vices (he hated the Daniel character and repeatedly badmouthed him to Daniel fans online wtf, and he admitedly lusted after Sam/Tapping and made her uncomfortable with the changes for her), and some were from absolute pettiness. Pettiness like being vocal about hating that the fandom was mostly middle-age women and he desperately wanted the young men demographic. He so hated the audience that the show he DID NOT CREATE had, that when the audience followed to Atlantis & then Universe (then the brief cartoon), he ended up pulling the plug on them ahead of their time.
This scrotum wrinkle literally ragequit the shows he was running because he hated that women were giving him a paycheck. Newer fans weren't around to know, but we lived all of this. We unfortunately could not escape him in our own Stargate forums and chatrooms because his narcissistic ass craved attention and wouldn't leave. We had to read interviews and press releases where he'd smugly gloat that Sam was more feminine and the show would be better with Daniel gone (then Janet gone).
I hope fandom makes their dislike of him still being attached to Stargate known, but sadly we made our dislike known back then too and, while we got Daniel back, few other things changed. I'd rather not have Stargate back at all if he's there.
