"Oh, wow! There are a lot more people here since last time I checked. Let's see... I see some more of those white-haired people, a very pretty girl, and... a... snake... thing? U-Um.... well that's a new one. Welcome all!"

Yet another copy of his host--and this one looked the same age, too. Perhaps a little older. Probably not in high school anymore. Which, according to the pattern that held true with most Bakuras, meant his version of Zorc was probably dead. It was just a guess, but it seemed likely from Bakura's experience.
No sense in pretending to be Ryoh with a copy of the landlord himself, not in this case.
"Now, here's a face I can't get tired of seeing. Hello, host."
XIII - Death
Every death is the beginning of something new. And every change is the death of the past. Live and Death are 2 sides of the same coin. And sometimes destiny likes to toss that coin.
I am on my way back home from university. I study theology and philosophy, simply because I don’t know what else to do. After I fulfilled the destination, that Shadi gave me, I became uncertain how to carry on with my life. I didn't have plans for the future, not even for the present. The days had become a blurred grey mass and when I drew the twentieth major arcana this morning I was too startled surprised to believe it. Soon however I should find out that I was not only receiver of this card, but mostly its executor.
On my way home I come upon a traffic light. It is red and I stop. The cars drive on the streets like they always do. Behind me a man about my age walks towards this traffic light. He is dressed in light blue jeans and a white pullover with orange sleeves; his hair is white like snow. Unlike me however he doesn’t stop at the red light... A car driver blows his horn. My hand reaches out and grabs ... thin air.

beep. beep. beep.
The constant beeping of the ECG machine fills the operation theatre as the doctors do their work; trying to safe what I couldn't safe. Of course I am not allowed in there and so the only sound for me is the tap. tap. tap. of my own foot steps as I walk up and down in the hospital's waiting room.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, a nurse comes to get me. She leades me through the white plain corridors to a white plain door. I look at her. She nods and I press the door handle to enter the room. I swallow when I see him lying there in his green hospital gown. He looked so unnatural, like something from a sci-fi film, with all the hoses and wires attached to his body. The nurse asures me that he is just asleep from the anaesthesia and that his condition isn't as bad as it looks, but I just can't believe it. It just looked so unnatural. I don't even listen to her while she tells me that hoses only contain painkillers and blood and that he didn't recieve any serious injuries, just a few broken bones and bloodloss. Without a word I place the books he was carrying on a table and sit down on a chair next to his bed, waiting for him to wake up.
The nurse leaves. Silence fills the room.
And then eventually he opens his brown eyes.
XX - Judgement
Sometimes, when all your life you set in the rain under heavy black clouds, when the earth beneath you is soaked in your tears and blood, when you have died a long time ago and your body keeps living for no purpose, then the blow of a horn might repel the shadows and a hand will grab you and pull you out of your insensibility. Little did I know that it would be my hand.

My hand reaches out and grabs the man by the scruff of his neck to pull him back and I wrap my arms around him. The other people at the traffic light get silent. The car drives away. The light gets green and the people leave.
A Second Chance
The longing was unbearable - constant, almost physical ache he wasn't familiar with. It plagued him since he had woken up back in modern world. No trace of either Zorc or Ryou. Thoughts about his former host flooded his mind and the yearning became even more painful. Did that mean he missed Ryou? He shook his head at the absurdity of the idea - he clearly was incapable of such feelings, or at least he thought so. His absentminded walking around brought him to semi-familiar neighborhood to find himself on his former host's doorstep. The ache lessened, although he paid no mind to it, busying himself with picking the locks. The interior was as he remembered it, which gave him tiniest bit of comfort, almost making him smile. Quiet, dark apartment was proof enough that Ryou wasn't around, but he was too tired to care. He curled up on the couch, like a stray kitten who just found a shelter from the cold weather, and soon was asleep

"Have you seen my cousin around? He looks kind of like me and he's really loud because he's deaf."
"Oh, what have I stumbled upon? You seem to be the dark spirit everyone was talking about after Battle City..."
He blinked at the white haired male and tilted his head. "What would you do if I was~?" He asked and smirked at the other then. "Ryou Bakura, right~?"
