I don't understand why there's barely anyone making cold readers, self-inserts, mcs, and y/ns.
Do you guys not understand the impact cold characters are to characters that are not just necessarily hot, but are happy, peppy, living, generous, light of the world, puppy dog energy. Like how out of all the people in the world we choose him because he managed to melt our cold hearts. And I dont mean this in a cringe way no. Please for fucks sake learn gradual inserts and give and take. Take the time to let it sit. Because the payoff for this when you wait is huge:

She's cold but she always wakes up early to iron his suit
She's cold but she always has breakfast ready by the time he wakes up
She's cold but she always fixes his tie before he leaves for work
She's cold but she always spends the day collecting little trinkets that remind her of him
She's cold but she alwayd drops off his homemade lunch at the front desk before lunch
She's cold but she always waits on the couch for him to get home
She's cold but she's always already arranged the bath for him
She's cold but she let's him snuggle up to her as they both tuck themselves in for the night
She's cold but she loves him
She loves him but she's scared of ever being rejected
She's scared that she loves him but she has no idea that he loves her back just as much.
