Julie lost her mother at age 16 due to the zombie outbreak, Her father General Grigio became less affectionate, Which lead to Julie having a hardened personality. She fell in love with Perry and was dating him from high school, At nineteen she faced a world of constant danger and horror with cool resolve and sarcastic wit. Being a child of the apocalypse, Julie was raised without ever knowing what a normal world looks like. She has lived through too many tragedies to name, and these experiences have forced her to harden, but also to grow a sense of humor. Perry became more distant with Julie after the death of his father. The plans of the next morning involved her and Perry and Julie's best friend Nora among other people that were not affected to come along with them to go across the other side of the wall which barricaded them off from the zombies, They had to go in search for for medicine for the other living. 

The next day Julie stood ready on the other side of the wall with her partner and friend also the others, Her father gave them all orders and warning's, To which Julie did not listen completely to as she already understood everything. When the guards opened the wall and they all walked across to the side that the living feared most, Julie's friend Nora seemed excited, Julie just grinned and kept her gun held high.

The all enter the lab where Medicine were being kept, Perry was collecting it when Julie heard a noise. "What was that?" She questioned as she gripped the barrel of her gun. "It's nothing." Perry replied "I heard something, I think we should leave." Julie argued as she knew something was wrong. "No we have come all this way and we need the medicine." Perry told her. Julie kept listening out when the noise got louder and everyone heard it. "Perry let's leave now." She shouted slightly loud, But Perry ignored her and walked towards the door. 

"Perry!!" Julie snapped as she see the crowd of zombies coming at the door.
