Dan & Sera: Caught Red- Handed
A new day, or how Sera like to put it 'Day 20' out of X days left of torture. It baffled her that her father thought a high school education were to be challenging for her. She had been declared a genius at the age of ten, and it outraged her that she was caught in this prison cell called what was meant to be an academy. By the looks of it, it would be more than lucky to be called a juvenile detention centre. The lack of etiquette amongst staff and students, and the horrendous knowledge that the staff claimed to have - it was usually a biased thought they fed into the minds of the younger generations. An education system that was dysfunctional and would lead to another generation of half educated persons. She let out a frustrated sigh, watching as the clock ticked by with the teachers voice droning in the background. She spent most of her classes writing a thesis or another journal to publish, at least other scholars appreciated her work.
The day was still young and Sera had yet again found herself mischievously scheming her escape for the day. She had found some rope she had stumbled across in the closet of the personal trainers office when she was rummaging through the room one day. Now she had perfect use for it. It had been a while since she went rock climbing or propelled off a cliffs edge. The adrenaline coursing through her veins at the though was exhilarating. But it wasn't the act alone that had her head in the clouds. Sera had always been the adventurous type, and had finally found a crowd she was willing to prey on.
Peeking her head outside her dorm, she scanned her eyes on the corridor, smiling noticing its emptiness. "Seems like everyone is still asleep," she murmured softly to herself, securing her backpack on her shoulders as she steps out of the room and quietly shutting the door behind her. Tip-toeing down the staircase, she winds her way to the exit. She cringes at the sound of the doors creaking a bit too loudly. Hearing the sound of footsteps, Sera ran out without looking behind, leaving the door open even if it were against her better judgement.
