Not exactly contradictory but complicated, having to defend my mutuals on various platforms because people cant comprehend having different sexual and romantic attractions. I have mutuals that are bisexual but only romantically attracted to women, mutuals that are homosexual but biromantic, hell, people even have a hard time understanding aros that arent ace!
shout out to ppl with separate romantic and sexual attractions, ppl with "complicated" aroace identities, and random shout to ppl whose attraction is based on presentation or specific alignment (Andro/gynosexual and what have you)
People who can't comprehend alloaros confuse me...like when I first heard of aromantic, I knew that.
oh shit a great dynamic just occurred to me about why ocam/sam could be so compelling
ocam's a betazoid and used to being able to sense people's feelings. but sam's a sentient hologram, so i don't think he'd be able to do that with her! imagine having to understand someone's emotional state when you're used to just knowing it, and also they're not going to react in a way you might expect because they're only just getting used to living in the world!!!

Sugary Sweets
Sugary Sweets are always a treasure,
It is such a delightful treat,
All the stress in the Earth, this gives me leisure,
Oh the pleasure of savoring such cheat.
Others may not bear to see such weakness,
From something simple as a sweet dessert,
I was bound to its enchanting sweetness,
Those words were not just for foolish blurt.
For this sweet could never rot another,
A sweet that can make the decay persist,
As their thoughtfulness is like no other,
In all timeline, thy love will be cherished.
If not by all, my every being will,
Because loving you is so fulfilling.

A Melody I Can't Tune Out
A world full of silence is unbearable,
Not a thing lit the spark inside of me,
This planet truly feels incurable,
Till an angelic air made me feel free.
The rhythm of the beat I can't tune out,
Heavenly song coursing within my veins,
Such divine voice in this realm make me doubt,
When me eyes laid upon you, all pain drain.
On repeat, I listen, just to hear you,
Kept on listening till it changes me,
Upon sharing, you wouldn't have a clue,
To how you voice moved me to such degree,
It was the escape I've been dreaming of,
From the world that was once all meaningless.
