Context: Dick is unknowingly in a fantasy scenario that reveals his "deepest, secret self."
I love how even though this comic is explicitly stating that Dick's biggest fear is failure, the next panel shows how part of that fear is disappointing Bruce. It's not just the act of failure, but Bruce's reaction in that he will think Dick is not a worthy partner anymore. And that Dick is worried he is only seen as competent by virtue of being Batman's partner (which is interesting to think about too because Dick as Robin establishes that Batman's partner can only be hyper-competent).
