sam looked down at his daughter who stood there with her arms crossed, she had a grumpy expression. the older man was a newly single father and he was finding it rather hard. sure, he was a good dad but ella’s mom was amazing with her. “ella, sweetheart, please. y’know you can’t have too much candy. you’ll be bouncing off the walls.” he spoke, kneeling down in front of her. the pair had just lost the most amazing, wonderful woman ever and sam didn’t know how he was coping. ella was only six and she most definitely wasn’t taking it well… her tantrums were proof. “don’t give me attitude, i said no.”
