You know what I love about this episode? It's the fact that Dean knows exactly how Sam falls asleep so he puts the message in the line of his sight
Overall this episode is an easy 9/10 for me. The plot was good, the direction was awesome. I loved the 1944 vibe and aesthetic. There was drama, brotherly banter, a bit of tragedy. The only thing that stopped it from a full 10 was the future prediction that Chronos does. He just says it's full of black ooze and honestly, we know that. They know that. I would have loved it if he'd given a cryptic future about Sam (because he summoned him) about the hellucinations or maybe what happens in Sacrifice. But then again, foreshadowing is Kripke's thing than Thompson's
