Is this Isle of Dogs secession thing real — historical, I mean? How puerile!

Hold on: this isn't just any religious organization: it's part of the Church of England — essentially a State agency. Doesn't that give Nonnatus House some backing? Isn't the Board of Health's attitude a bit ... I don't know, impertinent?

And where was Shelagh? Given her history, she would have been by far the best person to deal with the Paula situation, in which the girl's mother doesn't even know what the hymen is! This is, by the way, a perfect illustration of why sex education should never, ever be entrusted to parents — any parents. I've got a personal anecdote about this, but I'll save that for another time.

Opals are considered bad luck in some quarters, which makes me a bit nervous as to what the future may hold. Regardless, it looks as though we're going to lose Nancy and Collette after this season. 🙁

Wolf Hall and Marie Antoinette (not to mention Recipes for Love and Murder) will have to wait for later in the week. I just can't watch that much television at night anymore if I want to get a decent night's sleep. And I'm seeing La bohème tonight, so that was really important.

Just watched s14 ep1 and omfg, i need to rant.

This fuckass random demon wants to be crowley so bad, its laughable. I mean at least he's self aware about it but cmon, what were they thinking? The first time that guy showed up and the word "darling" came out of his mouth, i felt like throwing up. I was physically uncomfortable all the time he was on screen. And his name is Kipling too?? The name of mark sheppards character from doom patrol?

Seriously what were they on about with this episode?

But i absolutely loved sam in this, so that's at least something.

it's confirmed that misako was part of the explorers club which means all those hijinks about the ninja impersonating clutch powers to get inside in s11 could have been avoided if misako was a present mom
