Season 1, Episode 21: Connin' the Librarian

Favorite moment: Getting the Library to draw from the Deck. Very clever.

General thoughts:

That intro. Wow, I had forgotten about that one.

In the Dad facts, Beth mentions a mirror that says "stud" for Ron. Love this! This was post AMOD, so my guess is that that was supposed to be a fun nod to that.

Great boss fight. Lots of typical mechanics, with some clever uses. It is fun listening to them figure out the rules as they go. Darryl definitely can't have infinite reactions, but that's ok. They figure it out later. That's just how DND goes. A group of friends figuring out the rules (and best house rules) over time. And they're fast and lose with the rules anyway.

I love that Erin's story ties in to The Witch is Dead. If you aren't a Patreon subscriber and you are financially able, I highly suggest it. They have lots of great one shots, including that one. This one is at the $10 tier.

Clever use of the Deck and love how Book Castle comes back later. And the resulting arguments because of all the money leads to some great shenanigans over the next few episodes.
