Sul sul! Here are some default replacements for ufhairhathip. They are all available for Teen, Adult, and Elder Female Sims. All should be Base Game Compatible, and have been tested on both The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection.

ufhairhathip_black

Replaced with spottedonsixam's Juno Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (4k). The neutral beret colours were used with this default, you can download the pastel customs if you'd like!

ufhairhathip_blond

Replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Frankenmesh of simcelebrity00's Sabrina Hair with platinumaspiration's EP15 Blunt Bangs & Axa's Paris Beret. The polycount is the same as the original (9.4k).

ufhairhathip_blue

Replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of ah00b's Marley Hair with thebramblewood's Mercurial Beret. The polycount is the same as the original (4k).

ufhairhathip_brown

Replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of sunivaa's Denise V1 with whirliko's Alma Hat. The polycount is the same as the original (6.7k).

ufhairhathip_red

Replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of greenllamas' Hyacinth Hair with Axa's Paris Beret. The polycount is the same as the original (2.7k)... ...I didn't notice until writing this, but somebody else already defaulted this one the exact way I had initially 😭 So at the very last minute, to differentiate our defaults, I replaced the brown hair swatch with the light brown swatch. One of the previews below the cut has the old hair swatch, my apologies! Download the other version if you would like the darker brown swatch instead!

WHERE MY WITCHES AT?

Sul sul! Here are some default replacements for ufhairhatwitch. They are available for Teens, Adults, & Elders. All require The Sims 2: Apartment Life in order to work. All have been tested on The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection & Legacy Collection.

WITCH VERSION 1

The first female set is replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of surely-sim's Oz Dust Hat. HatWitch_Bad is replaced with Axa's Tara V2 (9.8k, animated). HatWitch_Good is replaced with dogsill's Honey Hair (12.9k poly, animated). HatWitch_Neutral is replaced with Maxis' EP04 Mid Curly (6.1k, animated). The hats are mixed colours per hair swatch (as per the original conversion) so it's best to use defaults that work well with multiple colour options!

WITCH VERSION 2

HatWitch_Bad is replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of xghostx's Paula V2 with surely-sim's Oz Dust Hat. The polycount is the same as the original (4.2k, animated). For this default, I edited the swatches so that the hat is black for all hair colours, though I included some of rascalcurious' custom alts for more colours (see below the "read more"). The custom version was requested by me, so thank you rascalcurious again for your help! ^_^ EDIT (2026-02-14): There was a slight green tint to the hat, probably something that happened of my own fault during texture editing. I have fixed the hat to be a true black now, so please redownload if you want! This fix is included in the uploaded file folders, but won't be in the downloadable .ZIPs! HatWitch_Good is replaced with @hazelpuff's 4t2 Conversion of Simandy's Brenda V2. The polycount is the same as the original (19k, not sure if animated or not). HatWitch_Neutral is replaced with @hazelpuff's 4t2 Conversion of PinkPatchy's Enchantress. I edited the brown swatch to be darker. The polycount is the same as the original (6.2k, not sure if animated)

WITCH VERSION 3

HatWitch_Bad is replaced with @hazelpuff's 4t2 Conversion of ah00b's Psylocke Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (5.8k, animated). HatWitch_Good is replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of Sunivaa's Denise V1 with surely-sim's Ox Dust Hat. The polycount is the same as the original (6.6k, animated). Just like in V2, I edited the swatches so that the hat is white for all hair colours. I also edited the black swatch to be a "true black" (desaturated). HatWitch_Neutral is replaced with @platinumaspiration's 4t2 Conversion of PinkPatchy's Party V1 Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (8k, I think unanimated but I'm not sure). I edited the black swatch to be a "true black".

CAT EAR HAT

Sul sul! These are ufhairearhat replaced with @rascalcurious' various 4t2 Conversions paired with nonoqy's Cat Beanie. It is available for Children, Teens, Adults, & Elders. I made them disabled for townies because I didn't want them clashing with randomized outfits. All should be Base Game Compatible. All have been tested on both The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection.

Replaced with oakiyo's Sammy V1. The polycount is the same as the original (8.9k, animated).

PONYPUFF

Sul sul! Here are some default replacements for fhairponypuff. Most are available for Adults & Elders only, with the exception of Yellow which is a shared hairstyle with the Teen replacement. The AF/EF only versions require The Sims 2: Apartment Life and the TF version requires The Sims 2: Teen Style Stuff in order to work. All have been tested on both The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection and Legacy Collection.

afhairponypuff_yellow & tfhairponypuff

Replaced with @miniculesim's 4t2 Conversion of Maxis' EP12 Bubble Braid. The polycount is the same as the original (3.4k, animated). The AF and TF versions are completely separate, i.e., NOT repo'd, so you can pick-and-choose your defaults to your liking!

afhairponypuff_purple

Replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of gegesimmer's Ruka V2. The polycount is the same as the original (10.5k, animated)

afhairponypuff_blue

Replaced with @miniculesim's 4t2 Conversion of simcelebrity00's Cat Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (6.1k, animated). I edited the black swatch to be a true black instead of that blue tint. I also made a second, alternate default for afhairponypuff_blue, with kestrelteen's 4t2 Conversion of luutzi's Tonka. Previews and more info are under the cut, download is included in the same folders.

afhairponypuff_blue replaced with kestrelteen's Tonka. 6.4k poly, animated. Doesn't have proper previews because I am lazy, but here was the original hair I was planning on defaulting ponypuff_blue with. I decided I wanted to try a different hair instead, but since I made a functioning default with this hair already, I decided to include it.

The download for this one is included in both the .zip and folders linked above, but here's a direct download if you want (SFS)(MF)

VAMPIRE (ALT)

Sul sul! I decided to make another default for afhairvampire! It is replaced with @hazelpuff's 4t2 Conversion of grhyme's GothGF. The polycount is the same as the original (unspecified, but I don't think it's high poly if you're worried). It requires The Sims 2: Nightlife in order to work and has been tested on Ultimate & Legacy Collection.

SLEEPING MASK

Sul sul! Here is a collection of default replacements for afhairhatsleepingmask. All versions are available for adults and elders. They require The Sims 2: Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff in order to work. All have been tested on both The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection.

Replaced with @platinumaspiration's 4t2 Conversion of aharris00britney's "Britney" Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (5467 poly, animated).

Replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of QiCC's Iris V1 Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (4.3k, animated).

afhairhatsleepingmask_purple

Replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of feralpoodles' Curlers. The polycount is the same as the original (9.2k, unanimated I think...?) I edited the brown swatch to be a middle ground between dark brown and light brown, I was lazy so the curler colours are also a middle ground between the pink and yellow swatches, it is more of a coral colour now!

MATCHMAKER

Sul sul! These are default replacements for afhairgypsy & efhairgypsy_ep7. Both have been tested on both The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection.

Afhairgypsy is replaced with @phyleis' 4t2 Conversion of Tekri's Esmeralda Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (12.9k). I edited the textures so that the accessory has different colours per hair swatch (the original purple accessory is kept for the black hair swatch, the blonde swatch has blue, red has green, brown has yellow, and grey has orange). It is available for adults and elders. It requires The Sims 2: Nightlife in order to work.

Efhairgypsy_ep7 is replaced with @rascalcurious' 4t2 Conversion of Simstrouble's Luna. The polycount is the same as the original (16.5k). I edited the bandana texture to be black so it matches the matchmaker outfit and hopefully other defaults! It is available for elders only. It requires The Sims 2: FreeTime in order to work.

DISCLAIMER: These defaults are named after what the files are unfortunately called in The Sims 2. The game was released in 2004, so the terminology is outdated. I have kept the names as is so its clear to the user what game files it replaces, and so it is easier for people to find. I would not use the word in any other context.

MOHAWKSPIKE

Sul sul! This is yafhairmohawkspike replaced with @powerpcinside's 4t2 Conversion of Kamiiri's Brookelle Hair. The polycount is the same as the original (11k, animated). Only the natural hair colours are available in CAS, but the hair streaks are available as mirror hairs! It is available for Young Adults, Adults, & Elders. It requires The Sims 2: University in order to work. It has been tested on both The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection & The Sims 2: Legacy Collection.

This is inspired by these defaults of the same hair, though those ones are an alpha style! I thought it would be cool to have a clay version of this hairstyle! If you like alpha, check those ones out instead!
