Like of course he knows all the crew by name, and sees them as people rather than as NPCs, or those-scary-pirates-we-got-stuck-with, or whatever.

this convo between caleb and jester? maybe i’m projecting from also watching the last campaign but c’mon that’s a sibling relationship. that’s big brother advice. also, terribly sweet, and also just... sad. which i think sums up a bit of both caleb and jester.

oooh i’m very much enjoying this new plot thread. dashilla and the diver’s grave... there is very little i love more than stories being worked into stories, and this sea shanty - ghost story on the siren/selkie/nymph/ temptress archetype, plus plot and an actual tune, is just VERY interesting
