This sudden power grab from the Ligne Family has swept away any urgency the Nobility might have had to go searching for the missing teens. Especially considering Duke Ismael’s dad happens to be Juniper’s stepdad’s sworn enemy at Court.   

So, as Ulokea frets over a Royal Wedding, a less prestigious ceremony is taking place across the border in Praaven.

The priest congratulations himself on another well performed ritual to bring together a young soldier and his wife in Holy Matrimony. Now he just needs to send the paperwork over to the clergy clerics. 

Well, technically that’s not true, Duchess Juniper. Sorry, I mean, June Merkel.

Your poor mother must be worried sick back home, you little selfish, love-struck, big-mouthed Princess!

Hmm, erm. I don’t think I should tell them that there is literally NO CHANCE of that ever happening. . .  Sir Geoffrey has a very ugly skeleton buried deeply in the back of his family’s solid wood wardrobe. . .

June’s Parents both hail from Praaven, and whilst her Mother might gleam with joy at the thought of visiting her kin, (The Wolfgangs & Wolfstaffs). . .

Her Stepdad can never return to his Hometown without the risk of exposing his disgraced family heritage. . .

Swains replaced Boats when it came to his Father’s downfall, though Geoff managed to escape exile by hooking up with a lonely rich widow Duchess who was having a mid-life crisis. He persuaded her that a new start in Ulokea, with a new Jarl from Praaven, would be just what she needed.

He has his charms does Sir Geoffrey, bit like his Dad before him.

His two sisters, one of them is also in Ulokea; we’ve seen her briefly.

Her other sister is Desdemona, but she has a different mum, which is what spared her (sort of) from exile in Praaven. 

Whew, that was bit of explaining to do. But I do hope you’re (mostly) on board as to why the couple needn’t worry about coming to kill them all  because I AM NEVER LOADING THAT F*@%NG PRAAVEN SAVE AGAIN! 🤬 .
