I do love how Sam and Dean are opposites in terms of commitment to the bit. Sam is immediately down to jump into a bit for the Investigation™ but doesn't internalize it. It's a mask that he puts on to get information and get the job done, but he'll agree very fast. Dean takes longer to convince to do a bit, but once he's in, he's committed and he takes it so seriously.
