Returning to my brain mush
Thinking about the Aladdin franchise and how bold it was as a franchise......Not to rely on Jafar as the big bad even though they easilly could have
Alddin of course was one of the big films of the Disney renaissance, and one of the most memorable aspect was the evil vizir /sorcerer Jafar ,voiced brillaintly by Johanthan Freeman .And unlike a lot of Disney villains.....HE ACTUALLY SURVIVES THE MOVIE
Now Aladdin was a huge hit,to the point A Saturday Morning cartoon was developed .Now to my mind the obvous thing to do is make JAfar the big bad of the show ......But thats not what they did and in hindsight I think what they did was a little brillaint
The multi part pilot was turned instead into a direct to Video movieReturn of JAfar ,and the big selling point was Jafar is back for revenge......And the book is closed on him as at the end of the movie.....HE DIES
And while he appears in other Disney media ,in the universe of the Aladdinverse this is the end of Jafars story ,aside from a crossover with Hercules which shows Jafar in the Underworld
As a kid this bothered me:Why let him live just to kill him,why not have him appear in the show proper ......As an adult I think its brillaint
Yes the show COULDVE used him a bunch....But if you use a villain too much it dilutes them .It also gave the creators room to create new memorable villains for the both the show and sequels that have stayed with fans for decades like Mozenrath,Mirage and Sa'luk
It opened creativity and they didnt have to fall back on just one bad guy

Fandorm Showcase #39 - Aladdin and the King of Thieves
Introducing the dorm housing the most sneakiest of desert roses...
Sablegriffes (Sand + Claws)
Sablegriffes consists of a desert-like atmosphere, complete with a sandy cavern which is where the dorm itself resides in, referred to as a den. It is a dorm that thrives on brute strength, combat instinct, and feral cunning, rejecting elegance in favor of dominance and loyalty through efforts. They mostly house students who are "desert roses", as in female thieves with strong survival instincts and capability to handle whatever danger they come across. There are rumors that the members are part-time thieves mainly in Scalding Sands, infamously known for robbing royal figures or the richer folks and managing to evade the authorities for years, but yet they manage to stay within the legal circle with their supposed crimes, all because their leader, the housemistress has resigned to focus on academical studiesWell, you would still have to hope they still don't try to steal your valuables when you're not looking...
"A dorm founded on the Tough Outlaw's spirit of fortitude. Students in this dorm focuses on survival instinct, brute strength, and fearlessness in the face of danger, embracing their raw potential and fight fiercely for power, respect, and freedom"
Dorm Uniform:
It is a form of tradition for the desert roses in Sablegriffes to wear a veil over their faces, which symbolizes leadership or high status amongst members, in this case the housemistress and the vice.
Welcome to the Fourty Thieves/Out of Thin Air
Another Keys world cover done! This one was a struggle babes, would you believe there isn't a lot of great character reference out there for Aladdin and the King of Thieves? Shame, because its pretty good as far as direct to DVD Disney sequels go (and Aladdin's dad is a fuckin dilf there i said it). Anyway, these chapters in Keys are some of my favorites, largely because they feature our first in-story interaction between Sora and Xehanort and its still one of my favorite scenes in all of Keys! Also the start of Sora's steady Moral Decline, and his runaway arc, gotta love it. ^_^
For the awesome @mrdouggers144, who’s probably the only other person on the planet who will understand the joke :D
Went off of vibes, so the placement keeps changing
Outdated maybe but I thought about it a lot
I have free will and a lack of experience and I'm gonna make it everyone's problem including mine
