Experimenting with rubble. Connotations, like Tom Palin has suggested of dereliction, rubble. Added Sack, dislkide. Took away from the visual clarity I thought, CLARTYCLARITTIE
I drew a line around it influenced by the crumbled brick dust of the classic(lyshit) not even classically shit hollywood horror film the Skeleten Key from circa 2005
It is meant to protect and stop evil spirits entering/ exiting.
The head is papier mache, a childlike, whimsical esture, also added a disjointed element to the figure, which I wanted to appear in the reading of the work, chatting with Rosie seems to have confirmed this. Although it has been a divisive point in my discussions.
