"You cannot have this puppy as our mascot for the thieves’ guild, Lass"
Thank you @saberwriter for this prompt

“Lass, you cannot have a Puppy” said Brynjolf, pointing half heartedly at the puppy, “as a mascot for Thieves’ guild”
Vazhra sighed and pouted.
Brynjolf looked away from the incredibly cute puppy to see Vazhra, and his heart skipped a beat. Vazhra looked incredibly beautiful even when pouting.
Looking down and feeling his face heat up, he considered his options; Even though Vazhra was guildmaster, Bynjolf had to be the voice of reason, even if—
Something bumped against the Brynjolf’s leg, and then came to a rest on his foot. Brynjolf looked down and inhaled in surprise; the pup was sleeping using his foot as a pillow!
Vazhra squealed in utter delight and gestured something with her hands.
In a few moments, his world was shifted and he was in his room, and the pup was on his chest… drooling away in a happy slumber.
The magic of time was a complicated affair, and it had taken some strain on her. When she had cast it, she had only slowed its flow, and had to act fast. Using her unnatural dragonborn strength, she had carried Brynjolf and the puppy, with the former carefully holding the puppy. She had laid them down and waited for the magic to taper off. When it did, the look on Brynjolf’s face of pure happiness was worth the magical strain.
Vazhra appeared in a flash of blue magic, and placed her hand on he puppy. Her free hand found Brynjolf; she caressed both. Soon, they were happily snoring and drooling away (respectively). Vazhra wiped her forehead, took off her shoes and snuggled up. Lazily, she laid an arm across Bryn (her best friend, cuddle mate and second in command) and closer her eyes.
Before she slept away to a land of dogs being ridden by Brynjolfs, she thought of the dog and the look of sheer delight she had seen earlier on the guild’s faces. Maybe the dog couldn’t be a mascot, but it sure brought a lot of joy to the Ragged Flagon.
