IDYLLIC ISLAND SIDE STORY ???? omg i wont ask for spoilers but … do you have any hints about what the focus is …

Idyllic Island spoilers ahead

Playhouse would take place simultaneously with events of the main story and be primarily from the perspective of Dave focusing on how his life goes from here:

to here:

(and maybe a few scenes further back in time to when he and Caleb first met/before Caleb was traumatized)

Dave's main unhealthy coping methods are avoidance and denial, so the story would delve into what happens when these strategies cease to work for him and how he goes from a seemingly well adjusted individual to an alcoholic mess.

Much like how the main story focuses on Caleb and Bunny's toxic relationship, the plot of Playhouse would focus on Dave attempting to sort out his sexuality and obsession with Caleb through a complicated situationship with a new character, Jay.

Jay has his own host issues, and Dave makes it his mission to "fix" him primarily so he can figure out how to "fix" Caleb, which is a great foundation for a relationship.

Some chapters would also be from Bunny's perspective delving into her past. You'd see more of her "boyfriend" before Caleb and what really happened to him at Lover's Leap, as well as Bunny's stay at the mental hospital.

There would be no chapters from Caleb's perspective because he's already had his chance to be the main character and he SQUANDERED IT.

i don’t really know if this is the case here, but sometimes just regular static charge from the sheets of your bed/fabric rubbing together and stuff can build up and damage laptops (like when you touch something metal and it shocks you) a laptop broke on me once because i used it sitting on a REALLY static-y blanket

oh ym god that’s terrifying. im not sure if thats what happened here but i’ll... remember this for when it’s winter and we’re in the Static Zone

could it be static damage? electrical charge can sometimes fry stuff in laptops

SORRY for the late reply!! could that be it?? i dont know anything about how comptuers Work, the part of the charger i set it on was the, like, Box part of it. i’m not sure how the electricity would get from that to the computer this way but again i dont really know...

i wanna talk to someone about it so that i can try to get ti fixed i jsut want to be able to like... open with an idea of what the problem is lol... but maybe i should just do it anyways
