A (very permanent!) love letter to Sabran Berethnet, my favourite character from the book that changed my life. The scene in which she faces Fýredel armed with only the ceremonial fake of Ascalon and her own audacity is the moment I knew I would love her forever 😌

Her pose is a reference to ‘Meeting on the Turret Stairs’ by Frederic William Burton and I’m so grateful to my artist, she’s completely perfect 💕🗡️⭐️
