ead and sabran in a tender moment
“What are you thinking about?”
IM THINKING ABOUT HOW ALL THE PROTAGONISTS IN A DAY OF FALLEN NIGHT GOT TO MEET EXCEPT FOR GLORIAN, SHOWING HOW SHES NOT TRULY FREE AND THEN HOW IN THE PRIORY OF THE ORANGE TREE SABRAN MEETS ALL THE PROTAGONISTS BECAUSE SHE IS FREE AND BROKE THE CHAIN THAT BINDS ALL THE BERETHNET QUEENS. THAT IS WHAT IM THINKING ABOUT.
only dykey kitsch high fantasy books can get me to kind of draw barely accurate historical fashion
Eadaz and her queen
If you write a sapphic romance, it simply MUST include a dance scene. I don't make the rules, everyone is already doing this. Avatrice did it. Catradora did it. Lumity did it. Gelphie did it, TWICE even. Ead and Sabran did it. Tarcy did it. Charlie and Vaggi did it. Nina and Maggie did it. Most recently, Franchaela did it. There simply MUST be a dance scene, and it has to be the best thing you ever have seen. I'm sure there are more I'm missing, so feel free to add to the list.
Halfway through The Priory of the Orange Tree and the funniest thing about the queerness of the book is that the world is generally not homophobic except for one person who needs to be straight in order for her religion to work, and folks you’ll never guess who’s gay.
just finished the priory of the orange tree and i have to admit something
