Tides Are Changing || Calliot
There would be one more trip to Scotland in late November and then the next time he would see his home would be for Christmas with his family and his wedding day. The jitters were slowly settling in and he found himself growing excited for the day to arrive. He had been sharing a life with Elliot for the last few months and he didn’t think anything would change once they became husband and wife. Except maybe the chance of starting a family. But it wasn’t something he would push. He knew how much Elliot’s acting career meant to her.
Elliot’s birthday had arrived and he had to work that day. Of course he left her a bouquet of roses and a note wishing her a happy birthday and how he had the night planned for them. He had made dinner reservations for them at a nice quiet restaurant and then later they would meet up with their friends for cocktails and enjoy the day of her birth. He wanted to keep it low key but still show her how much she meant to the Scot. He had only hope she would happy with what he planned.
Callum managed to get out of work an hour early, which meant he would beat traffic home, and soon parked the car in the driveway. He opened the front door to Ringo barking and come skidding around the corner, tailing wagging at the sight of him. He leaned down and scratched behind the pup’s ear. “Hello you, where is mom hiding.” He stood up and tossed his keys in the bowl on top of the table that was by the front door. His foot kicked back to shut the door and he started to walk further into the house.
“Elliot.” He called out, losing the tie around his neck and pulling it off. They still had a couple hours before they needed to be at their reservation, which meant he could spend some time with his fiance. The redhead started towards their bedroom. “Are you home?” He figured she would have been home by now. With her film coming up she had been training hard and came home exhausted.
