Thane at last night’s CC West ‘Under the Mistletoe’ Ball.
It’s good to be back home, hugging the people I love. I was in southern Sichuan, China with CC West’s emergency response team. As much as I love being a part of our ERT it can definitely be heartbreaking.
Oh yes! Hydrate me, bitch! Anyone want to make bets on how many times I’m going to pee when I get out of here? You’d think that with all the technology in the world there would be a faster method of giving a sick person fluids. I have a bar to open in four hours.
Do you think you will ever step back from direct medical care and move to a different role at the hospital?
If I did step back from my current role it would be to solely focus on deployment medical teams to places in crisis and, well, I’m not getting any younger and I have a family. So, logically, I’m not going to change my current work method.
