4 We Do Not Die conference
In another perfectly synchronous twist of fate, I had been attending a conference on-line at the Findhorn Foundation about near death experiences and life between lives when I got my diagnosis. I learned about brain entrainment as presented by Karen Newell, who develops meditation recordings and sells them at sacredacoustics.com . I have been a regular meditator for 40 yrs, and recently my meditations have been hit and miss. Distractions have interfered with a deep settled feel, and I have missed the joy I previously experienced in meditation. I have found that listening to these recordings truly settles my brain and allows me to experience the world in a fresh way. Another person I fell in love with was Anita Moorjani. Her extraordinary story was of a death and rebirth. She suffered from pervasive fear centered around getting cancer. Of course, she contracted cancer. Her body deteriorated until she was hours away from death, in a coma. Her near death experience took her to a realm of unconditional love. She was told that returning to her body would be the best choice for fulfilling her purpose on earth, but she could choose to stay if she wished. She knew that if she returned, her body would heal quickly, because she had experienced the magnificence of who she truly was. She did return and her body healed up in weeks rather than months. I adored her message of being true to ourselves and living life fearlessly. So I sent for her book and her healing meditation CD. Didn’t know what I would do with the CD, but thought it might be useful sometime.
