I don't know why I run away
I'll make you cry when I run away
28/09/2016, post ended 4:56 AM So I just cried my eyes out imaging a story. (So I try to write sometimes...a while ago). 😅 Alfred leaves his homophobic mother and gets his own place. His not-good-freaky finds him and manhandles him back. His mother sends him to a straight camp and he tries to down a bottle of sleeping pills. Matthew/James finds him after he and the police find and break into the place and they pump his stomach. Alfred later wakes up in the hospital with Matthew/James at his side. He's convinced he's dreaming (...again...) but he remembers taking the pills and he's happy he can see Matthew/James for one last time...even if it's in his head. Naturally Matthew/James is horrified and angry. As a punching bag and canvas can attest to. After god-knows how many therapy sessions with Alfred believing he's living his ideal life in his head, Alfred's therapist gets the idea to make him do a controlled bungee jump saying that the falling sensation would wake him up if he was in a dream. Alfred agrees. And falls. And feels so terrified he has an almost heart attack. But he realises he's not dreaming. He finds Matthew/James and they're both so happy, they kiss passionately and hug and cuddle. And live as happy as two people in love possibly can. Like, tearjerker. But happy-middle-ending tearjerker. (Let it be known, I hate sad stories and happy ones are my drugs.)
Verse1: He'll wake up to the sound of rain His head resting on his pillow He'll look over and see streaks of gray Wash over his window He'll stand in the warmth of his shower His mind resting on what's uncertain He looks up and sees the streaks of gray Run down his curtain He gets in his car Unsure of how he feels He looks out and see the streaks of gray Blurring his windshield Chorus1: Now he's in the rain All alone Wondering why She never showed He'll see her And she'll say, "I'm sorry about The other day" He'll say, "no worries. It's fine. Maybe some other time" Verse2: He starts walking lost in thought Water splashing under his feet He looks over and sees the streaks of gray Flowing over the city's streets He stops at the corner of the street Unable to say anything at all He looks over and sees the streaks of gray Dripping from her red parasol Standing outside the coffee shop And that's where they'll meet She looks up and sees the streaks of gray Streaming down his cheeks Chorus2: Now she's in the rain And now she knows The pain that which His eyes still shows She'll see him And she'll say, "I'm sorry it Happened this way" He'll say, "No worries. I'm fine. It was bound to happen Some time" Bridge: He stands on the street corner And a thin layer of gray looms over him As the cool autumn rain continues to fall And his heart pounds in his chest Chorus3: Now they're both in the rain And they're standing together Underneath a red umbrella Despite the still gray weather She'll see him And he'll say, "I'm really sorry I feel this way" She'll say, "No worries. We'll be fine. I have your heart And you have mine"
