Doctors attributed Diego Lobo’s sudden illness to his advanced age and questionable eating habits, but the truth was that, after his wife died, Diego lost his will to stay. The children did their best to brighten his spirits, terrified of losing him just like they lost their mother, but death soon visited the Grey-Lobo house once more.

Much like his wife, Diego lived his last day to the fullest. He visited his favorite museums, critiqued his favorite works, and had dinner with his four children. That night, he passed away peacefully in his bedroom, surrounded by memories of his happy life. His daughter, Isabelle, found his body the next day and collapsed into tears.

Through the grief, at least his kids knew that Blaire and Diego were together again.
