What are your thoughts on the tantous who aren't your brothers?

Imanotsurugi is an honorary Toushirou since he spends so much time with us. He even roomed with us before Iwatooshi came home (and before there were so many Toushirous that we had to split into two dorm rooms). Ichigo treats him like a younger brother and those of us who have been in the citadel since the early days are very close to him.

Aizen is also nearly a family member. He also roomed with us in the early days until Hotarumaru and Akashi came home, and he and Hotarumaru still join in our adventures more often than not. He’s always game to go exploring and gets along with everyone.

Sayo is a little more distant, but that’s no surprise. He spends most of his time alone, with Mitsuada, with Kasen, or with his own brothers. We all get along with him but I think he gets overwhelmed by my brothers’…exuberance. He and Honebami get along quite well though.

Taikogane Sadamune is a newer arrival so he didn’t room with us. He rooms with Mitsutada and Ookurikara (at Mitsutada’s insistence) instead and spends most of his time with them and Tsurumaru. He clashed with Midare at first–they both like being the center of attention–but the two seem to have settled their differences, and now Midare is Sadamune’s self-appointed hair stylist.

Fudou is…doing better. I was worried about him when he first came to the citadel. His kiwame made a huge difference and I’m so glad that he seems happier. He still doesn’t spend much time with my brothers but since coming home from training he has made an effort to seek me out and I’ve greatly appreciated his company. I’ve…missed him since our days as Oda swords.
