“thank you for taking care of him when i couldn’t be there.”

and taako insisting

“thank you for loving him when i forgot him, he should never be alone for long”

and when magnus grows old and kravitz warns his time is coming, he takes taako to visit her again and he says

“he’s coming back to you now, take care of him while i can’t.”

and decades later, when taako finally dies, they’re both waiting for him with open arms

Renaming Lumi to Pearl for reasons.

One being that a pearl is sth that hurts and chafes the inside of an oyster and that pretty much symbolises the constant hurt of losing her.

Secondly it's a pretty name and the party just found (among other things) a pearl which Merritt asked to keep for sentimental reasons (and I was all 'shit girl did you just change my hc?!').

Also I like ocean imagery AND lesbian imagery ;)
