You made me feel Amerika (by which I mean I found in you what others look for but do not know exists).  I stole from you and planted sickness in your soil like a cash crop or invasive species. Greedy to posses your most sacred spaces, your ancestral homes, I poisoned the water supply  tamed the wild creatures and taught you the profits and practices of hating deep.  These are ghastly recollections that require no re-collecting  but still, in a net I haul them onto the broad deck of my flat affect. They are dripping and slimy; something departed that just wants to sleep. Other faces are less fuzzy now and so I greedily consume their untapped clarity and pray your static fades,  faster than it formed.
