I’m not sure which album came first or if this has been pointed out before, but I was just listening to HNOC and i noticed that the whistle in the background of “The Tower” sounds a lot like the melody of “Lost in the Cosmos” - some drumbot Brian foreshadowing? Or did they like that melody so much they reused it? Either way, really cool!

Oooooo you’re right! I don’t actually know how early they started working on tales to be told 2 (came out in 2018, hnoc came out 2014) but i do think that is drumbot brians motif (it plays for his death in dttm as well!). Makes sense if it’s foreshadowing for him but I don’t actually know!

omg yesterday @desiree-harding-fic and i were talking about how kravitz steals little trinkets off the necromancers he reaps and brings them back as presents for taako and... combine these two ideas... taako wearing all the glitziest gifts kravitz has ever given him whenever he really wants to get kravitz’s goat
