HRM KING MOHAMMED ADDRESSES THE NATION FOLLOWING SHOCKING DEATH OF KING, QUEEN, CROWN PRINCE OF HARALA.
“My Dear People, I would have loved to wish you all a good morning, but it has been quite a difficult few days, has it not? Queen A’isha and I were awoken last week with the terrible and shocking news that our dearest friends and allies, King David and Queen Shrishti, along with their precious son, Crown Prince Aadi of Harala perished in a perilous fire. The King and Queen, a couple close to the hearts of the people of Harala and Saeida. And the Crown Prince, a precious young man like a son to me, who was still starting out in life.
My heart breaks every time I think back to that night. Prince Aadi, Princess Ashna and Prince Sharukh were with us in Saeida palace, intending to stay the night, as we were planned to celebrate the union of our two nations the next day. Unbeknownst to us, King Aadi left for Harala late that night and as a result was unfortunately caught up in the flames that burned the palace that night. I wish I had known he’d planned to go. I wish he had told me. I wish I could’ve stopped him. But no manner of wishing now, will change the past. Precious Prince Aadi reportedly lost his life in his bedroom, alone. This news saddens my heart.
As much as it pains me, I must now address the nations by myself, instead of with my dear friend by my side. There are many rumours swirling around, and I assure you that my family and I will not rest until the truth of the incident is revealed. Before then, I have an announcement. Last week, King David and I were to co-host a full day of celebration to commemmorate the Union of Harala and Saeida. However, this tragedy occurred just the night before, thus the event was cancelled.
Despite this tragedy, in line with the wishes of King David, the Union of Harala and Saeida has been finalised and a formal treaty has been signed. So I am pleased to formally announce that officially, as of today, Harala has now joined the nation of Saeida, to be known as Western Saeida. I would also like to announce that our first act as a United Nation, will be a week of mourning the loss of our beloved King, Queen and Crown Prince. This is a loss we will never forget. One that we will spend two days each year commemmorating from now on.
To the people, formerly of Harala, now of Western Saeida. I welcome you to our family of Saeida. I invite you as one of us. That we may also embrace your cultures, values and way of life and that we may grow and form an even stronger union as we journey together. We are one family and always will be one Family. God bless the United Nation of Saeida”
