Dec. 23 4:30 p.m.

Leblanc, in the main floor area, Sojiro, Futaba, Akira, and Morgana, are getting the cafe ready for christmas.

“Alright kids, I’m done for the day. I’m going home. I know your friends are coming over, just don’t make a mess of the place. Thanks for helping me set the cafe up for christmas. Have a good evening you three.”, Sojiro subtle necessitated to Futaba, Akira, and Morgana, while he left Leblanc.

Once Sojiro left Leblanc, Akira pulled out of his bag that was on the counter, a ball of mistletoe. Futaba tilted her head to an angle to see what her friend, Akira, had in his hands.

“What is that you have there, Akira?”, Futaba nonchalantly inquired while messing with Morgana’s head.

“Mistletoe. I thought it would be fun while I was visiting to have our friends kiss each other on the cheek, so I decided to hang up some mistletoe inside, near the entrance door to Leblanc.”, Akira calmly replied back to Futaba while he finished hanging the ball of mistletoe above the door.

“Mistletoe? What’s that? And what does mistletoe have to do with kissing?”, asked Morgana who was thoroughly confused while trying to escape Futaba’s hold.

Upon hearing that Morgana didn’t know the old time tradition of kissing under the mistletoe, Akira tried his best to explain the tradition to their feline friend. Even Futaba, who had a hard time socializing and had never really kissed someone on the lips, knew about the tradition, and tried to help explain it to Morgana.

A few moments later, now that Morgana finally understood the tradition, he was more excited than ever before for the rest of the gang to come. As Morgana started to fantasize about kissing Ann, Akira shook his head at Morgana while silently chuckling. As Akira was chuckling, Futaba shyly walked up to him and gently tugged on his sleeve, letting him know that she wanted his attention. Akira turned to face Futaba, seeing that she was messing the hem of her shirt. Realizing that something was up, he asked her what she wanted to talk about.

“I’ve never actually have kissed someone under the mistletoe before, and I was wondering if you could… you know… help me since it’s my first time doing this?”, Futaba nervously asked Akira, gaining a very puzzled look from him.

“Futaba, are you sure you want to do this? You’re not pushing yourself too hard, are you?”, Akira asked her with a hint of concern in his voice noticing that Futaba looked a bit stressed as she stood in front of him.

“I’m not pushing myself too hard, and I’m sure I want to do this!”, Futaba stubbornly shouted catching Akira off guard and subsequently startling Morgana out of his daydream.

Akira decided to give in to the redhead’s request, and walks Futaba to where both of them were under the mistletoe. Futaba looked up at Akira, knowing that she was the one who requested this, she wasn’t entirely sure how to go about this. As the awkward silence grew between the two, Akira decided to do something, and kissed Futaba on her cheek. When he drew back from the quick and sudden kiss on the cheek, he came to see the wide eyed expression on Futaba’s face. As panic started to set in Akira’s mind, worried that Futaba was about to pass out, he called out her name a few times to make sure she was alright. Futaba blinked a couple of times, processing what had just happened. Finally after she was finished processing her thoughts and feelings, she was ultimately happy that she didn’t run away from being kissed, even if it was on her cheek, by someone who wasn’t her adoptive father. Even more, it was the guy she considered to be like her older brother. Futaba tackled Akira giving him a hug, expressing how grateful she was for what he did. With that out of the way, they decided to finish getting the decorations up before the others got there.

-TIME SKIP-

By the time Akira and Futaba were done putting the rest of the decoration, it was now 6:45 p.m. Suddenly the door to Leblanc was slammed opened, causing the three in the cafe to jump. The three turned around to see that their friends were behind them, with Makoto already chewing Ryuji out for slamming the door to the cafe open. Ann and Yusuke walked over to Futaba to apologize for what Ryuji did.

“It’s okay, as long as he didn’t destroy the door and any of the decorations. Otherwise he has to answer to Sojiro for what he destroyed.”, Futaba slyly said with a smirk on her face causing Ryuji to panic even more.

Haru walked over to one of the booths, and sat down, smiling all the while with what was going on in the cafe. Once Makoto was done chewing out Ryuji, she went over to where the others were. Unbeknownst to Makoto and Ann, there were two figures sneaking up behind them. What came next was quick and sweet kiss on the lips for Makoto from Akira, and a kiss/lick on the cheek for Ann from Morgana. After the kisses were given, Makoto had a strong blush on her face and Ann had soft blush on her cheeks while pinching Morgana’s cheek. Futaba let out a silent chuckle to the reaction from her friends.

“You do realize that you’re under mistletoe.”, The redhead pointed out to Makoto and Ann, making them completely flustered at that realization.

Ryuji decided to look at the ceiling of the cafe , and realized that there was a ton of mistletoe hanging from the ceiling. With that in mind, he tried to kiss Ann and wound up being slapped by her because she didn’t want to go through that again. As a result, Ryuji sat down next to Haru. Without suspecting a thing, Haru gave Ryuji a gentle kiss on his cheek.

“Thanks Haru…”, Ryuji replied to Haru with a shocked face.

“You’re welcome Ryuji.”, Haru answered back, giving Ryuji a sweet smile.

As the group got situated, Akira walked behind the counter to prepare some snacks and drinks (non alcoholic, keep that in mind). As he was doing that, Morgana walked on top of the counter to where Yusuke sat.

“You know Yusuke, I bet that Futaba would really like a kiss on the cheek from you.”, Morgana whispered to Yusuke, making him confused and Causing Futaba to blush profusely upon hearing what the cat said.

“Why on earth would Inari kiss me.”, Futaba promptly stated while turning her head to the side.

“Come on, Futaba. Give Yusuke a chance.”, Akira teased Futaba a bit.

What Akira didn’t expect was Futaba to grab Yusuke, and walk over to piece of mistletoe was.

“Woah, Futaba what are you doing?”, Yusuke said startled by Futaba suddenly grabbing his wrist and being pulled by her.

“Only on the cheek, and that is it. Okay.”, Futaba quickly spat out as she was very flustered at moment.

As Yusuke tried to kiss Futaba on the cheek to get it over quickly, circumstances became to where the two of them were kissing each other on the lips. Yusuke and Futaba pulled away from each other becoming very flustered by what happened. The whole cafe started laughing because of the great time they were having.

-Time Skip-

As things started to die down, a surprise came walking through the door. The group of thieves/friends turned to look who walked into the cafe. There stood Akechi, who that they all thought was dead, was alive. There was a unspoken heavy atmosphere, which was broken by Akira walking up to Akechi. He pulled Akechi into a deep hug, and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Akira pulled back to say, “I’ve missed you so much.”

Stunned to hear what Akira said, Akechi looked around the room to see a bunch of forgiving smiles and people whom he could truly call friends. As Akechi finished looking around, he saw Makoto walk up to him.

“Welcome back Akechi.”, Makoto softly said to Akechi while she gave him another kiss on his cheek.

That night was the best reunion and Christmas party that the phantom thieves had.
