“Assistant, But Not Really.” Tia Safalin x Male Reader. Tia Safalin, the vice master of the third floor, pretty much solely in charge of injury control. Well, what if she wasn’t? What if she had someone else to take a load off her shoulders, be there for her not only physically in terms of her work, but emotionally when she needed someone to cry on (and oh boy did she need someone to cry on). Well that’s where Y/n came in. He was jokingly referred to as “the vice-vice floormaster”, but by all accounts Y/n was just Tia‘s assistant, but funnily enough, often it didn’t feel that way, considering that most often she let Y/n take charge and came to him when she needed advice. Funny thing was whenever he was injured, which she would tearfully half scold and half apologize she couldn’t protect him for, she would ask her boyfriend to tell her what to do, even though she knew full well what to do. Oh, and that was her little secret. You see, being vice floormaster is a big responsibility, and Tia is a … mostly kind soul, her duty takes a lot out of her, so when she was appointed an assistant, she didn’t think much of it, but there were times when he was there for her to talk to when no one else was. And so one day they just decided they wanted to be together. There wasn’t very much of a confession, but they kind of just decided that they liked each other in the same way, they could see it in each others eyes. Being a floormaster is a very hard job especially for someone with safalin's temperament. While ranger is the one to handle most of the official and tougher parts of the job Tia still has to manage of all of the injuries and "take care" of all the participants, so they decided to assign her an assistant: you
At first she was confused as to why she had a....vice-vice floormaster but she quickly found out why, you were there to support her, not only with her job but also mentally. Whenever she felt sadder than usual and wanted to cry you were there for her, she really appreciated that
So much so that she began to see you as more of a friend rather than a coworker something that she didn't feel for any of the other asunaro members, you talking about stuff not concerning the death game and genuinely formed a bond
A bond that safalin quickly realized was more than simple friendship and to your surprise you thought the same too, It was pretty obvious for both of you understanding what the other felt and so even without officially confessing you became a couple, both work-wise and relationships-wise
Ranger definitely knows, cause it's really obvious, but doesn't mind that much cause it's funny to bully and tease safalin for this
