Activism is dangerous. You can get seriously injured and/or arrested. Be careful what you share with people/the internet and be prepared. Mask up with hard goggles/gas masks, not only to protect your eyes/face from bullets, mace, and tear gas, but also to hide your identity. As cool as it is to know your friends are out there doing shit.... remember that sharing their names and images with live streams, etc, makes it that much easier for law enforcement to identify them. You don't know what your friends are doing out there, so if you see them out there masked up DO NOT BLOW THEIR COVER by sharing their names and images together on the internet. Security culture is key. Know before you go what you're getting into... Rubber bullets can break fingers, make you go blind, and worse. Tear gas canisters can blow your arm apart, if you get hit with them. Gear up if you go out and please be safe.
