7. tell an embarrassing memory or story

tbh my memory is so shitty omfg.

the first thing that comes to mind is ? summer camp or whatever when i was? idk probably 9??? and we went canoeing. i had a friend in the boat with me but otherwise we were by ourselves to follow the rest of the groups canoeing along out into the lake??

I’m terrified of deep water :’) i cant see the bottom? its a problem. so i was already anxious because canoe. lake.

and then?? its also windy. and not only does that add to my anxiety but i lose my fucking hat because it blows off my head. 

i kid you not i started frantically? weeping. i was so frustrated. i made us turn in circles until i could reach the damn thing. it was the last straw and i was hysterical and probably scaring the girl in the boat with me?

but i just. had to get my hat back. it was my hat. i couldn’t just? leave it.

eventually counselors came over on their own and thought we were??? in trouble or something and led us back and meanwhile i had to explain that i was fine i just??? wanted my hat back but i’d lost it and i couldn’t get it back??

it was mortifying omfg.
