Travelling across a desert we drop water, this water irrigates the path of the desert making it fertile and able to produce crops. This is the image these two cards bring to my mind's eye, the message I am seeing here is; when things look barren, we simply need to walk the path with nourishment and it will turn from barren desert to bustling agriculture. Working on that which brings nourishment to the body and soul will naturally nourish the path we choose to walk and work on. The mystery that is being revealed here might very well be that with perseverance through the hardship we will create everything we need.

This week our attention is being brought to the tides of nature and how our actions, or inactions, create ripples in time. When we are hit with the reaction of an action, or create these reactions ourselves, we are being asked to cancel them out with their opposites to remain in a state of harmony. This is an incredibly venusian reading, as such, cause and effect should be balanced with love and seen for the very truth of what life really is; nature simply taking its course. When we are able to approach life without any interpersonal prejudice but also approach it with great love, truth and poise, we gain the greatest satisfaction of all.

This week's focus revolves around balancing how we have been wronged with its opposite to remain in a state of harmony. While it is likely that we have been harmed, we need to remember that what has been done to us isn't always our fault. We could very well be completely innocent and still have people who wish to persecute us for things beyond our control. This is a warning to not lose yourself in what seems like rightful revenge and hatred for the acts of defilement against our character, instead we need to bring these experiences back into balance with what our true character is. If you were never cruel before, don't lose yourself by becoming cruel. It's important we understand who we are so we can balance these feelings healthily and not allow ourselves to fall into their traps.

This week we are being asked to take a leap of faith. We wish to follow our hearts but we don't know what will happen when we pursue it. Taking a chance with our feelings often feels almost mad, yet, we wish to do so anyway. When our feelings overtake us and we follow them to our glory, or to our detriment, is all a part of the journey. It is unknown whether the pursuit of this will land us on our feet and begin a whole new adventure, or if it will land us on our heads, whatever the case this is an initiatory experience nonetheless. This week is a rough one to say the least. It's likely we will be hit by a whirlwind of intense energy which is set out to destroy the foundations of the things in which we were mistakenly holding on to. This brings to the forefront of our attention, in a very shocking and somewhat traumatic way, the matter that must be destroyed in order for us to free ourselves of the attachments which may very well have given us stability and comfort, but in the grand scheme of things, were not serving us. Something must come to an end so we must fight with all our might to take this in our stride and accept the circumstances so we can be free. While this is all taking place be very aware of your own and others tempers and try to take steps to calm yourself if the world around you is thrown into a chaotic storm.

This is your kingdom, you are the ruler, it is your responsibility to move on it and take charge of it. What you say and do goes this week, you have established your power and your kingdom and know how to rule it, so do just that.

Perhaps we are hiding a part of ourselves and we need to process our past in order for us to see how things have actually affected us as a whole. By looking at our past emotions, expectations and experiences we are able to strip our soul and unveil its truth until we stand naked hiding nothing from ourselves. This nakedness allows us to understand and therefore cleanse ourselves spiritually so we can move forwards with a fresh and purified perspective. With a purified perspective we can better move towards pleasure instead of pain.
