Sagessa

Sagessa is a traveler who hangs out around stables. She is likely the most well-known for her participation in one of the Penn questlines.

In Breath of the Wild, Sagessa hangs out by the Dueling Peaks Stable. She'll tell us about how to make elixirs and how useful they can be.

She'll also talk about shrines, as she can be found right next to the Dueling Peaks shrine.

She also points out that there's a lot of twins at the Dueling Peaks stable (Prissen and Domidak, Rensa and Tasseren, etc.), which I didn't actually notice until she pointed it out. It's a fun detail the developers put in.

In Tears of the Kingdom, she features in the Penn side adventure An Eerie Voice. Penn and Link hear a weird voice that they track down to the nearby Haran Lakefront Well.

It sounds ominous.

When we go down the well, we can find Sagessa singing a song by herself.

So, she's a woman of many talents!

There aren’t many travelers around? What about Mezer, Bugut, Brokka, Celessa, Joute, and Toma? They’re all travelers who stop at Dueling Peaks Stable.

I’m pretty well finished with Breath of the Wild, so here’s a list of my favorite girl NPCs. There were a lot of cute ones. Nintendo did good.

Sagessa hails from a temple on the hillside just a day’s travel from Prespit Look. At the age of five, Sagessa’s mothers dedicated her to Pelor, god of the sun and healing, as they had promised when they prayed to Him for a child. Up until recently, she knew little of life outside the temple and the priory. On her 99th birthday, Pelor blinded her and set her off on a journey on her own as a test of faith. She now travels the realm relying on her connection to Pelor as her guide. 

She’s generally upbeat, optimistic, and cordial. She has an air of dignity and grace about her at first glance, but that is quickly dispelled by her chattiness and naivete. Despite her seeming airheadedness, she is quite competent. She is well-studied in medicine and religion, and is able to keep a clear mind even during times of duress. She is also an agent of the Burlap Hooks, an underground association that looks into strange happenings and phenomenon related to the arcane. Her partners are Finley and Ecarte, and she loves them dearly.
