#Repost @paleotuga • • • • • • Este é sem dúvida um dos antílopes mais estranhos do planeta, o Antílope-Saiga (Saiga tatarica). No Pleistoceno, vivia desde a Península Ibérica até ao Alasca e Canadá. Isto porque este mamífero está adaptado para os climas frios. Existem 2 subespécies, a da Mongólia e a da Rússia e ambas têm pêlo de verão e de inverno. A razão do seu sucesso deve-se ao seu nariz. Ele tem como função aquecer o ar frio do Inverno, enquanto que no verão o nariz arrefece o ar quente. Só os machos é que possuem chifres, 38 cm no caso da subespécie russa e 22cm no caso da subespécie da Mongólia. A saiga mede de 0,6 a 0,8 metros até ao ombro e pesa entre 36 e 63 kg. Vivem entre 6 a 10 anos. Geralmente um macho possui um harém de 5 a 50 fêmeas. Estão em risco de extinção, devido à medicina chinesa e por causa de uma doença que causa 100% de mortalidade, cujo o último surto ocorreu em 2015 e matou mais de 36.000 animais. यह एक तरह की मछली होती है जिसे लैम्प्रे के नाम से जाना जाता है। यह आर्कटिक महासागर में पाई जाने वाली मछली की तरह होती है। इस मछली के दांत काफी नुकीले होते हैं। यह अपना शिकार पकड़ने के बाद उसे खाती नहीं बल्कि उसके शरीर पर अपने दांत कई दिनों तक गड़ाकर रखती है और उसके शरीर से खून व जरूरी तत्व निकाल कर पी लेती है। स्टार नोज मोल
