Doing things one-handed was certainly a chore, especially when it came to marking papers, with his dominant arm trussed up in bandages and a sling from a rather vicious fight earlier in the week, he was making do, going about his business as a usual, broken arm or not all the same, Aizawa was back at U.A the next day, wasn't about to be defeated by a pot of coffee however.

The villain god was laying on a bench under some woods, snoozing away. Though he seems sound asleep, he was still alert.

"It happens today... The damage today... They fall on today... They beat on the outside..." The involuntary visions were always the worst ones. Without knowing what he was looking for, he just saw. Time opening up inside his mind and assaulting all of his senses.

It happened again - he chased after a villain without looking back and it ended up putting him in a sticky situation.

What happened was complicated but Izuku was chasing down someone and they came across another fight. Someone was screaming in pain, so Izuku abandoned his original target to assist. By the time he got to the victim and managed to press a hand over the man's gushing wound, the one who had attacked him had disappeared.

And so when a pro hero arrived on the scene, she saw two people. One bleeding profusely and unconscious, and Izuku, whose hands were covered in blood. "He needs help, please!" That was the first thing he called out before he realized he might have some explaining to do.

"I...I was chasing down a villain..." Except that person was nowhere in sight. "And I saw this." Izuku gestured to the bleeding person and then at the knife on the ground, which he had yanked out of the victim's hand earlier. Wait, why was the bloody knife in the victim's hand? He couldn't have possibly decided to slice open himself, right? This situation made no sense. "Uh...um..." Izuku thought he should at least inform the hero of who he was and patted himself down for his license. It was gone - he probably lost it during the chase.

"This is all really new to me. So, just give me some time to get used to being cared for, okay?" / have a small sprinkle of angst with these- @saiibeo

"That’s alright. I won’t be going anywhere. You’ll always have me. Okay?”

Heroes should be more cautious about saying these kinds of platitudes. It spills out of Basil’s mouth, honeyed and warm, like the fresh cup of hot tea he’s brought to Corvus’s bedside. Saying soft words like these doesn't feel like a performance for Basil. He looks to Corvus and feels that familiar tug of his heartstrings, the same wondrous orchestration that compels him to believe there is good in this wretched world, and it’s to the tune of Corvus’s name. It’s strange, this closeness sprouting at the seams; they’d hardly known each other for long, but he swears he remembers their face from somewhere — another life, maybe. The thought crinkles his nose, and he kneels beside Corvus and presses his face against the corner of the bed.

“On the bright side, your fever is coming down quickly. So you should be back on your feet soon. But don’t worry about me looking after you for now.”

Her expression was serious, but there was a note of hurt in her eyes. Never had her trustworthiness been questioned, but she shouldn't be surprised. The entire world seemed to have turned upside down overnight and there was no telling what would come next. Still, she took a slow breath. Her mace was set to the side and hands held up with her palms facing them.

"I can't completely disarm myself considering I'm a magic user, but... I truly don't wish to hurt you. I'm as invested in avoiding turning into a mindflayer as you are. I truly believe that working together is the best choice in this scenario."

{ ♪ } -- She snorted, shaking her head in amusement. Corvus always seemed to be so confused as to why they were fond of her or the fact that she paid attention to their interests and what they said to her. Part of her was worried by it, wondering what sort of things they'd gone through to make them think that way. Another part of her decided to react to the little joke they'd made instead. Bella didn't think they'd take too kindly to a deep, meaningful conversation right this moment... So, jokes would be accepted.

"Goodness, I do love figuring out a good mystery. Doing that will just make me want to spend more time with you to figure you out all over again! Though, you can just ask to hang out with me, you know."

There was that smug little grin she got. It was exclusively for when she was being a little shit, and they probably knew as much at this point. That didn't mean it wasn't fun, though.

She was teasing. Of course, they were friends, but she didn't entirely mean the 'adorable' part. Instead, she just laughed and shook her head.

"No, but really. You should make it easy because it's in both of our best interest to get this figured out. So, if you have ideas on how to deal with the monsters of the Underdark, I'm all ears."
