A variation of low and loud sounds could be heard from the arcade game machines as you stood behind the prize counter with your older brother, Motoki Furuhata.

"Why are you here? I thought you had a date."

You bit on your lip as you thought of how to say your words to your older brother. You knew no matter how you put it he would see through you. He would see what was really happening between you and Usagi. He would see what you didn't want to admit out loud.

"Since when do you keep track of my schedule."

"She canceled on you, didn't she?"

You turned away from him and started to count the money in the cash register, a distraction from the present.

"She's just busy, okay?"

Motoki could tell by the tone of your voice that you need him to drop it. You couldn't have that conversation. The one where it all becomes a reality.

The doorbell rang signifying a new person had just walked in. With your eyes trained on the cash register in front of you, you didn't look up but rather focused on the task at hand.

It wasn't until you heard the voice of your girlfriend that you looked up. Hand in hand with Mamoru Chiba on one side, and Chibi-Usa on the other. They look happy together, but you felt betrayed. Betrayed and hurt.

Any other day you would've been happy to see her and Chibi-Usa come in. Any other day you would've been ecstatic. Today was different. Today she had canceled your date. She canceled your date, for him.

"Mamo!"

You heard her laugh at something he said and you couldn't help but feel jealous. He made her laugh, something you hadn't been able to make her do in months. He made her smile, something she stopped doing around you. You felt angry, angry at him, him and his dumb nickname that she loved to call him. .

"I can do this, you should go talk to your girlfriend."

You put the money down and walked over to the new Sailor Venus arcade game where Usagi sat playing with Chibi-Usa.

"Hey, can we talk?"

Startled, she froze up and killed her character in the game. She looked up at you with shocked pretty blue eyes before looking at the ground.

"Yeah."

You grabbed Usagi's soft hand and pulled her to the back of the arcade center where there were less prying ears and eyes such as Mamoru or your brother.

"I thought you didn't work today."

"You lied to get out of our date just to show up with another guy, and that's what your gonna start off with?"

Usagi looked at the ground and played with her hands. She knew she had to give you that talk, the talk she had so long been avoiding. The talk she didn't have the heart to give you.

"You seriously bailed on me and showed up with another man?"

"[Y/N], he's– he's dating Rei."

"Really Usagi? Because two weeks ago Rei told me everything."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

You looked around you, an extra measure that nobody was listening.

"Sailor Mars told me everything. Everything about you, Sailor Moon, and Tuxedo Mask."

Usagi stopped looking at the ground and made contact with your eyes. Her crucian orbs had tears in them. Unlike most of her tears over unimportant things, these ones held real anguish behind them.

"So you know I'm Sailor Moon, and Mamoru is Tuxedo Mask. We're soulmates, and, Chibi-Usa is our daughter."

"How long have you known?"

"A few months... I'm sorry, I just didn't want to hurt you."

You turned around to walk away from her and the tears started to pool in your eyes.

"I love you, we can still be friends."

"If you loved me, you would've told me when you found out instead of dragging it out like this."

"I'm sorry, I love you, I really do [Y/N]."

For the first time in your relationship, you didn't say it back. Because the reality kicked in and what you'd known for a while became true. She wasn't yours, she was his.
