Old emo band t-shirts? SHe wears them proudly around the dorms.
So now Kaede just kind of smells like Shuichi? So Clef gets used to his scent and has even fallen asleep on his lap without either of them realizing it.
They 100% do find Clef under SHu's old hat, but Shuichi will also find Clef randomly in coat pockets of his. He once accidentally took Clef to a crime scene (only for Clef to pick up the scent like a bloodhound and help Shuichi find the thief)
