his memory is (almost) completely wiped upon being redeemed. he still gets undeniable feelings of grief, yearning and homesickness, but he can never pinpoint why. this is normal upon going to heaven, but Pentious has it particularly strong due to his emotional sensitivity.
Lute recognizes him from the hotel, and decides to recruit him as an exorcist to rub it in their faces (she eventually grows to like him tho)
he goes on to build a name for himself in Heaven by contributing to its tech and weaponry, and eventually gets appointed as lieutenant. after this, and building Lute a new arm, Heaven treats him to a luxurious life. it's nice to be able to order free bits and parts whenever you want, but he can never repair the aching, inexplicable hole in his chest
despite their semi-friendship, Lute dislikes Pentious' sensitivity, and sees it as his biggest obstacle. she finds it irritating when he complains about feeling sick during training
Pentious wants to do a good job, he doesn't wanna disappoint Lute, he doesn't wanna disappoint Heaven. he wants this stupid anxiety of his to go away
Angel: HEY BITCH-how was the date with double dick?
Cherri: Oh you know, we uh went... antiquing.
Angel: OH...I see.
Cherri: And even when we DIDN'T buy anything he'd just go into MAD detail about where the fucking thing came AND how much he appreciated it's fucking form!
Angel: ... and you loved it didn't you?
Cherri: OF COURSE I LOVED IT, how the fuck can one man describe a lamps in intricate detail and be so FUCKING CUTE?!
Angel: That's St. Pentious for you!
Pentious: Cherri darling, I just learned of a store that is FILLED with rotary phones, perchance you'd join me?

Can we get Sir Pentious’s S/o cuddling and taking care of Frank after the battle? I just realized he survived in the finale song saluting the portrait. If you can, can you add S/o reuniting with redeemed Pen and him thanking her for it?

after the battle, rebuilding the hotel took up much of your mental space, until it was rebuilt. that night you sat in front of pen’s portrait, staring at it. almost as if hoping he would come through it, back to you. for the hours you spent there, he never did.
the only thing that pulled you from your thoughts was a soft pitter patter of feet against the carpet. you look over to your left and see frank waddling toward you.
“you weren’t in bed and i was lonely!” frank exclaimed, standing next to you.
“i’m sorry about that frankie…” you sigh. “it’s just a bit too much to see that empty bed.”
“i know.” he says, looking at the portrait and saluting it. you smile and he turns back to you. “i miss boss.” your eyes water and tears cascade down your cheeks for the first time that night.
“i-i do too frankie.” you try to quickly wipe your tears away but the egg just waddles up to you and settles in your lap as you hug him to you. you hear soft sniffles as you rock both of you back and forth.
“do you think we’ll ever see him again?” frank asks.
“i hope so. i really hope so.” you whisper as frank falls asleep against you.

a new day was here and you steeled your shoulders as you looked up. after everyone realized sinners could be redeemed, you put in a lot of work to make your redemption happen. you knew pentious was up there and damn it, you wanted to be up there with him. frank did too. and it was finally time. your time had come.
you look down and see frank hoping up and down, excited.
“i’m ready to go boss lady!” frank exclaimed, trying to pull on your hand.
“okay! okay!” you laugh and follow him, waving to the hotel behind you as a blinding light engulfs you both. you step out of the portal and look around, your eyes barely adjusting to the light difference when you hear frank gasp.
“i know. i know. i hear it’s very different…” you say and look to your left, your eyes widening as you hear him.
“it’ssss been a long time, my dear.”
“pentious!” you cry tackling him in a hug.
“boss!” as frank does the same.
finally you were together. finally you were reunited. and you wouldn’t ever be apart again.
