I think Jade should have survived to the end of Captain Laserhawk not just bc I hate fridging characters in any context and she fully deserved better but also it would've made the remaining crew at the end of s1 so much funnier.

Decided to watch this on a lark through a"Totally legitimate service"...its Suicide Squad with Ubisoft characters and no heart.

And no, Laserhawk being queer doesn't give this show a plus, because in the second episode one of only 2 female heroines gets killed off to make the men sad, her uncle Peyj tells her he's in LOVE with her. HER. UNCLE! WHY?!

To clarify, I haven't even PLAYED the game and yet here we are, a character one character calls her uncle and he tells her he is in LOVE with her just...WHY?!

And SCREW YOU internet, you made this show look like a campy Rated R Ubisoft deally bop, when in reality its just pure nostalgia pandering GARBAGE that tries to trick you with its good animation into thinking its anything of substance.

I don't know why I expected more from the writing team of Adi Shankar and Alex Larsen who helmed Devil May Cry, but ONCE AGAIN, really glad I watched it through a "Totatlly legitimate service".

Seriously, fuck this show, and fuck the game based on it that shilled crypto and NFTs.
