In the midst of the She Is Love video series I’m curating, “Celebrate Mary Magdalene”, I’m taking a moment to honor my patron Saint, Santa Anna (Anne). In the folkloric traditions, Santa Anna is the grandmother of Jesus and is sometimes depicted at the major events of his life, but more often than not, is pictured with her daughter, Mary (“the virgin”). For me, the grandmother archetype resonates as an aspect of the primordial goddesses: the Great Goddess and the ancient Paleolithic Venus figurines. She is the Cosmic Matrixial container. 20 février 1684 : le Pont Royal est emporté par les glaces ➽ http://bit.ly/Pont-Royal-Paris En cet endroit, il n’y avait autrefois pour traverser la Seine qu’un bac, qui subsista jusqu’en 1632, époque où un sieur Barbier fit construire un pont qui reçut plus tard le nom de «Pont Sainte-Anne», en l’honneur de la reine Anne d’Autriche, puis «Pont des Tuileries» ou encore «Pont Rouge» parce qu’il était peint de cette couleur
