sorry, i was going through the benny tag and saw your post about starting with the shadow of the scourge, and hence not getting an introduction to benny travelling with the doctor. their meeting is depicted in a novel which big finish superbly adapted to audio: love and war. if you're curious, i highly recommend it.

i mean that was the implication so either. clara’s pregnant or. godot i really can’t work around it. it seemed like a fantastic episode when it aired; promise of things to come. but nothing came. it shouldn’t’ve happened.

i know i got really excited when i first saw it even though it made no sense bc i assumed that was the start of the new plot. but it wasnt. and i feel if clara was pregnant theyd have foreshadowed it already? like in the christmas special

but maybe moffat actually learned from the pregnancy hell season and isnt going to do that. i hope so

my personal resolution for this is that the creature was a collection of whispermen outside of their weird cloth suits, but yes, there’s a difference between ambiguity & dropping a plotthread without ever returning to it & listen was the latter

yeah like.. i was thinking "oh claras on again so maybe they will bring the plot back" but then i remembered... danny is dead.. also now that episode makes even less sense bc the future guy was supposed to be descended from danny & clara right? but danny and clara have not had children. oh boy they really did not think this one through
