AU ask game! How about Blind!Midoriya AU?

ooooh ig this is a tough one cause i never thought about this?

not sure if this is a midoriya turned blind or born blind au so kinda going with the former

1. midoriya is keen enough that he is still pretty good at navigating his way around the world; he can tell who is who by voice, actions, the way they move, etc

2. the problem with that is that when he’s wrong, it probably can cause problems (ie talking to someone as if they were someone else, probably revealing things he didn’t plan to)

3. this doesn’t hinder him from being a hero

4. he finds it an advantage almost; i imagine that while it can be disheartening, i think midoriya would immediately try to find the pros of it, such as improving his other senses

5. he can tell who is around him sometimes but doesn’t reveal that he can; proving to be a useful espionage skill

Headcanon for BkDk .w. Whenever Midoriya gets into one of his study binges on new superheroes or powers and what not, Bakugou just casually puts things like water bottles or sandwiches within reach for Midoriya to randomly notice. and if Midoriya does comment, Bakugou just dismisses it with something like "You missed dinner, nerd."

taking care of each other is cute uwu i love this,, hmm now that i think about it would midoriya be the type to stress eat or skip dinner due to stress?

For the Fanfic Trope: One of the specific Soulmate AUs, like the timer on the wrist for when you meet?

The timer’s a fun one! I tend to favor the tattoo types-- so either symbolic tattoos, names, the first/last thing they say, being able to write notes on your skin, that kind of thing. But the timer’s a fun one if only because of the suspense potential.

I don’t have that many plans for soulmate stuff, but you never know! It might be fun to just, do a fic collection of different soulmate AUs for my OTP.
