It's honestly pretty funny that we only really got Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games because Eri Ejima got hardcore addicted to Street Fighter 5 half through working on Yuzumori-san (another really excellent yuri manga).

It's even funnier if you've read Yuzumori-san because you can basically pinpoint around when she started getting addicted as half way through, you start getting pages like this out of nowhere.

looking for animal references on image searches has always kind of sucked but it's much worse after AI image generation technology has begun to actually past muster, which is why i always just go straight to inaturalist. can't recommend this highly enough. you get to both find out about niche species you've never even heard of and also see some really good photographs like this one
