DISCUSSION: Do You Have What It Takes To Be A Classic Who Monster?

With the upcoming season, the Weeping Angels will have made three major appearances in Doctor Who. The Ood have made four. But do they ultimately have the lasting, iconic, appeal of classic series monsters like the Daleks, Cybermen, Silurians or Sontarans? Have there been new series monsters that have been ignored like the Sycorax or the Host? What were the great Doctor Who monsters, and what makes a Doctor Who monster so great?
