RITUAL TRACING BOARD

There's a huge part of me that is afraid to share my mystical practice. That being said, I am going to set that fear to the side and walk through my current ritual all the same. It's a new moon cycle today. As such, I created this tracing board to aid me in the work that follows. While I'm certain some of you may recognize the symbols the highly personal nature of it might be off putting.

Okay. What I am actually doing here is asking for Divine guidance. I am a writer whose focus is Spirituality - helping others awaken to the Divine presence within. Naturally, that requires Divine blessing and a heightened intuition. (I'm in agreement with Plato that we are born knowing- at least our Spirits are- all the secrets of the Cosmos).

Where I differ from most occultists is I don't want to bend the world to my will, I want to submit my will to the will of Yahweh- the I AM within. I feel that God is, as Meister Eckhart put it, is the Desire behind all desires. Granted, my desire is to impact others in a healthy and positive way but I feel I'm moving in that direction. I guess I'll know by the end of the cycle, yeah. LOL

God's Divine will is exacted through Her- Ru`ahh- the breath of the Almighty. That's right, I feel it's the feminine aspect of God, the Divine Mother, who grants us our creative force. Yeshua being the perfected Spirit of God within all men, what Paul would call Christ. The Triune nature of God holds power. For me personally that power is best described as Sal Nitrum- the mind reorganizing the Cosmos.

This is also why I submit my will. I feel that if the creative force we're tapping into comes from God then the least I could do is help create Gods Divine purpose for my life. You know, use my time here helping others grow and evolve.

The sun and the moon, in my interpretation, represent a powerful life force being reflected within. The yin and yang is an obvious representation of the dual nature of our existence here. I tie those three together because they form yet another triangle that reflects a different aspect of the same concept captured in the Trinity. This, is because I believe all paths have the same goal- spiritual awakening.

Underneath the four candles are the four elements which I believe represent the cyclic nature of all living things. We keep coming back until we get it right.

I will be placing a candle on the yin-yang symbol and lighting it at the height of the new moon. I hope you guys found this as insightful to read as I find it terrifying to share. Peace be with you.

COSMIC MINDS

If everything is comprised of energy and life itself spawns from a pure form of consciousness then wouldn't it stand to reason that our minds are all interconnected? The philosophers of old were certainly inclined to believe so. Even quantum theory seems to be swimming along the same channels as mystics these days.

If our minds are merely protrusions of the great cosmic mind then what Paracelcus says makes a great deal of sense. As we "think in order to be" we are quite literally reorganizing the cosmos to our liking. That would mean our minds shape everything we experience collectively to a much greater degree than we ever thought possible.

Oddly enough, this is exactly what the observer effect seems to be telling us; we affect our reality just by looking at it. Whether it be through instrumentation or the naked eye, one thing is certain, observation effects the outcome. Only time will tell what that truly means but I, for one, am excited.

ALCHEMY 101

Mind reorganizes the Cosmos. Every culture has a variation of Parzifal. In the West we have Eve being tempted in the Bible. In Roman mythology Paris hands Venus an apple. The Greek version of Aphrodite is also associated with the apple. Kama Mara is associated with the creation of the world of illusion in Eastern traditions.

What all these stories have in common is the fruit of enlightenment. The snake is almost always meant to represent the minister of the goddess. The goddess being seen as vegetable and the snake as animal.

On the surface this is incredibly cryptic and doesn't make much sense. However, those who have been initiated into the ancient mysteries see this as alchemy and it's hidden meaning holds the key to inner transformation.
